As a computer enthusiast and dedicated developer I spend a lot of my time reading and developing skills to improve the quality of the solutions I deliver.
My reading list varies from The Clean Coder and Clean Code, which help reminds us of the duties and responsibilities we face as developers, to To Sell Is Human and The Power of Habit, which help us better understand ourselves and others around us.
I’m an avid fan of SOLID principles and how they can help build better software by allowing us to loosely couple classes resulting in more adaptable code.
The current area of focus for my personal development is around Azure’s cloud offering and how us developers can leverage them to deliver better and/or quicker business benefits.
